Client Testimonials

"We loved working with Jill Tefft. We feel so lucky to have been able to go through this process with Jill on our side. Buying a home in New York can be complicated, and Jill guided us every step of the way. She went above and beyond throughout the entire process and was a fierce advocate for us, making herself available at all times of day. Jill is fantastic at what she does and I highly recommend working with her. "

"If you are looking for a competitive and strategic realtor in Upstate NY, look no further than Jill Tefft. Even though I live three hours away, Jill makes the investment process seamless. She is lightning-fast with property data and possesses an invaluable instinct for the local market. In our three transactions together, Jill has proven to be a master of the ‘strong offer,’ winning out in tough markets while maintaining total professionalism. She handles the fine details—like utility transitions and agent notes—so nothing falls through the cracks. I often joke that I feel like her only client because of the personal attention she provides. Jill is an absolute pro!"

"A few years ago, Jill helped me sell my house and did an amazing job keeping me informed and answering all of my questions. Her service was unmatched. She gave the same exceptional service during the purchase of my new house. You can count on her to be there when you need her, no matter what it is. I can’t recommend her enough!"

"Jill has been a delight to work with! I’m going to miss our regular check-ins and chatting with her at every house viewing. I’ve been looking for a house for more than 3 years and I’ve worked with Jill for the last year and a half and I finally closed on my first house. She made the process of looking for and buying a house so much easier! I’m a first-time home buyer and she has been so great about answering all of my questions and helping to navigate the current (frustrating) housing market. Highly recommend!"

"Jill was amazing throughout this, at times very stressful, process. She always responded quickly when we had questions or concerns. We found ourselves over and over saying I’m so glad we have Jill to help us. She is a wealth of knowledge, has a cool temperament, and really cares about her clients. Selling a home is a stressful, emotional rollercoaster. Jill wore a lot of different hats during this time, and seamlessly. She was a guide, an instructor, a negotiator, a cheerleader, a friend, and a rock when we needed it most. She was incredibly professional and supportive and we will always be grateful to her. "

"Jill was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable helping us sell our home, offering suggestions for staging, and keeping us informed throughout the entire process. We were thrilled with how quickly the house sold and how smooth the entire process was. We would highly recommend Jill to anyone selling a home!"

"My Partner and I met Jill when we first came up to Washington County to view a historic School House property that she had just listed. The School House was more of a project than we were up for, but meeting Jill made the trip up from New York City more than worth it. I am a Real Estate Broker in Atlanta (25 years) and originally planned to represent us in any purchase. We were so impressed will Jill’s expertise, ethics and energy that we made the decision to have her represent us in our going forward purchase. Jill has a special skill set on historic properties as well as a great perspective on the different towns and communities in what became the focus of our search area. She brought us to a wonderful restoration of a small church (Circa 1839) and was patient enough to get us to the finish line on our purchase (multiple offers, septic challenges, internet access, radon mitigation). It was a journey and we would not have completed it without Jill’s perseverance and negotiation skill set. We ended up with a home that we absolutely love and Jill continues to be a great resource for us with recommendations on contractors for improvements we are making on the home. We really appreciate everything Jill has done on our behalf which is beyond the five stars you can give in a Google review."

"Jill Tefft was my real estate agent for my recent home purchase. I wpuld highly recommend her for the following reasons: 1.) When I would contact her for a viewing, Jill would respond quickly with an apptmt. lined up. 2.) She would research before the apptmt. as much information possible about the house and property and any legalities involved with it. 3.) When viewing a home, Jill would point out the good features as well as the bad, was never pushy, and gave me plenty of time and space to carefully look through and also privately confer with anyone who had come with me. 4.) When it came time to negotiate the offer, Jill was on the ball - she kept the process moving, but without pressure. 5.) After contract, Jill was very conscientious about getting paperwork in on time- and even sent friendly reminders to other professionals involved to meet deadlines. 6.) Jill enjoys her job, and is genuinely dedicated to helping people find a home that’s just right for them."

"Jill helped us buy the house of our dreams! She was an absolute pleasure to work with! She helped us buy a very old home (c. 1795) from a Trust and made it truly painless. She made clear from the outset what to expect along the way and she had knowledgeable professionals to refer us to when we needed services (home insurance on a 250 year old house is not simple to obtain, but Jill had a broker who got the deal done smoothly). On a personal note, she is a lover of old homes and a great resource on proper maintenance and rehabilitation. She is a wonderful person and a true professional and we would never think twice about using anyone else!"

"Jill was so kind, helpful, and informative, answering all of my questions and advocating for my interests. My house sold in just 4 days, with several offers, and I got more than the asking price. She was knowledgeable about the area and guided me through every step of the process. I highly recommend her!"

"Jill is an outstanding realtor! She had listed the property we purchased on a website specializing in antique homes, which is where I first saw it. I reached out to her to find out more information and she responded immediately! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. When the house received multiple offers and quickly went under contract, I again reached out to her to ask if she’d please contact me if the deal fell through. Sure, enough, I heard from her about a month later letting me know the house was once again available! We were so excited! Jill helped us negotiate with the seller and she even did the walkthrough for us since we live outside of the area. Jill gave us a lovely gift at the time of closing and she and I continue to keep in touch. Everything she does is with a personal touch and attention to detail. It is evident that she truly cares about her clients and the properties she lists. I highly recommend Jill Tefft!"

"Jill did an outstanding job helping us navigate our first home purchase. She was responsive and really went above and beyond answering all my questions. We had a fabulous experience working with Jill and will recommend her to everyone!"

"Jill was fantastic to work with in our search for a house. She understood our needs and concerns and listened carefully to our feedback. Her calm, clear communication and wise counsel was so helpful in navigating the unexpected twists and turns in the home-buying process, and she’s a wonderful person as well. We’d give her 6 stars if we could!"
